These pictures are of a 1983 Baba-30 water tanks. The measurements below are approximate and should be checked for application to your boat. Not all Baba-30's are identical!!! Starboard Water tank: The tank is wedge shaped being thicker (deeper) towards the bilge and thinner as the hull slopes up. There is a square recess at the aft, upper, starboard corner of the tank 6"x6"x2" deep with 90-degree elbows to allow for the input and vent hoses. There appears to be a 3.5" flat section of bottom before it starts angling up towards the outside edge. My outlets (2, only 1 in use) are at the bottom of the tank on this front section, port forward corner pointing straight towards the bow. Length: 46" Width of Top: 17.5" Depth thick wedge: 10.5" Depth thin wedge: 3.5" Flat width bottom, inside edge: 3.5" (where outlets at front of tank are) Recess for inlet and vent: 6"x"6"x2"deep Port water tank: There was much less access to this tank, so details are not as good. It's shape appears to be even more complex than the starboard tank. The outlet appears to be at the aft, starboard, bottom corner, with a small 90-degree elbow exiting aft, then attaching to the outlet hose pointing starboard. The inlet and vent are in a recess at the front, upper, port corner of the tank. Unlike the starboard tank where the fittings enter into the top of the recess vertically, the port input and vent fittings enter horizontally into the sidewall of the recess. So the fittings point sideways to port. Length: 42" Width of Top: 18" Depth of thick wedge aft: n/a (I'll see if I can get this, there might not be access) Depth of thin wedge aft: 6" Depth of thin wedge just behind inlet: 2.5" Depth of thin wedge forward: 0" Ken Pearce Bellingham, WA s/v Shantih, 1983-Baba-30
