The attached photos show the course of the staysail sheet. To summarize, it starts at the clew of the staysail (on the furler), down to a block on the staysail traveler, up into the mast, out of the mast below the spreaders, two more to the starboard side of the mast, and through one block near the winch. 

This arrangement produces a lot of friction. What sheeting arrangement does your staysail have?
