product is this TOTALLY better than new 41 foot Tashiba Pilothouse
Cutter.
This pilothouse, named “One Iron” is not your ordinary Tashiba 40
Pilothouse. Bob Perry redesigned the stern, by adding another 18
inches to her end, meaning more space and waterline. The entire
interior was redesigned and rebuilt by Lyman Morse. The old
pilothouse was removed and a completely new one was installed giving
the interior a much needed face lift. The cockpit and her lockers,
as was her aft deck was reworked. All mechanical and electrical
systems, including engine was replaced. The entire interior was
redone, from forward stateroom, to the master stateroom (which is
absolutely a work of art), to her bathroom with stall shower, to the
most beautiful pilothouse under 48 that I ever have seen, to her
bright and airy galley, inside steering, complete new electronics,
sails, mast, running and standing rigging, air conditioning and
heat, new cabin soles, cushions, matteresses, new deck hardware, new
chainplates, electrical systems, propane system, plumbing,
batteries, invertor/charger, hatches, ports, Awlgrip hull, epoxy
bottom, pedestal steering system, to everything. This boat is better
than new. Again, everything is new and to the highest of
quality.
