Bow Thruster installation on Baba 40

Work performed at Baja Naval located in Ensenada, BC, Mexico 75 miles south of San Diego.

The workmanship on this installation is superb and matches if not exceeds any OEM installation. I fitted the tube beneath the Vee Birth then built a protective acrylic cover to regain most of the use of the locker. The two AGM batteries are located amid ship in the aft settee and joined to a common post for both windless and bow thruster beneath the vee birth with 4/0 marine grade wire. 

The tear drop fairing is formed and fiberglass to the hull that prevents any drag as the water travels aft over the hull.

The bow thruster is a Side Power 75 with joy stick control at the helm.
